Tuning your car is about more than just cranking up the power. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Surface Transforms to offer carbon ceramic brake discs for McLarens & Ferrari applications to complement Voodoo Power Packages.
Surface Transforms is is a manufacturer of next-generation carbon-ceramic brake discs for automotive and aircraft applications, and these kits are designed as a direct replacement for the standard fit ceramic brakes. Surface Transforms' next-generation technology means they run at a much lower operating temperature (around 100C less) providing improved performance and a much longer life, particularly on track. The material is a next-generation Carbon Fiber Reinforced Ceramic (CFRC) which is produced by Surface Transforms' proprietary processes, transforming Carbon-Carbon into our Carbon-Silicon Carbide (CSiC) ceramic. Whilst the carbon-ceramic discs you find on production road cars conventionally use discontinuous (chopped) carbon fiber, ST interweaves continuous carbon fiber to form a 3D multi-directional matrix, producing a stronger and more durable product with 3x the heat conductivity of standard production components, this keeps the brake system temperature down and the brake performance consistent.
